Kaiwara Trek
Kaiwara is located in Chintamani Taluk, Karnataka of India. Situated about 65 km from Bengaluru. To get to Kaiwara, you can either take the Bangalore-Hoskote-Kaiwara route or Bangalore, Devanahalli-Vijayapura-Kaiwara route. Kaiwara is famously known for the great poet Sri Yogi Kaiwara Narayana Taatha.
The trek is managed by the Department of Forest, Karnataka Government, hence one has to take permission for the trek and there is a charge of Rs.250/300 per person. It takes about two ways around 4kms in total. Despite rocky hills, there are lots of green trees to give that shade for you to rest in between.

· Wear comfortable footwear ( shoes with a good grip)
· Best time to visit/trek in the months of Dec-March and June- September.
Just 6–7 km away from Kaiwara is Kailasha Giri which is famous for cave temples like Ambaji Durga, Ananta Padmanabha, and Chenna Keshava cave temples.
